Angelina Jolie, Golden Globe 2011, Tacori
My fifth and the last set that I will highlight is Angelina Jolie look on the Golden Globe awards 2011.
Red carpet was full of amazing looks, but I personally liked the most Angelina`s. I don`t know why, the dress is too vintage and there aren`t some special things on her, but still. Angie proved that it really does matter how U wear clothes not vice verse. I made this set for the contest too, for Tacori jewelery to be exact. So let`s start, I could`nt find the exact dress that Angie was wearing, Atelier Versace gown, so I found the gown that has the same color, almost 🙂 I used Matthew Williamson emerald green beaded evening gown. Because of the Angie humble look, I didn`t wanted to use heels. I wanted flat shoes, so I used the most stylish ones in silver shade by Steve Madden, to correspond with the Tacori jewellery. From the bunch of beautiful stuffs I choose simple diamond earrings and the same bracelet. I wanted some cool bag to finish this all, but I didn`t wanted silver, I wanted something in the cool emerald color, but still vivid and different. So the logical solution was Bottega Veneta clutch. I used the image from the Golden Globe awards and the picture of the movie which brought her nomination The Tourist ( Which I personally didn`t liked especially), I added frames in green and silver shade, some fonts, flowers to cheer up and the Tacori logos. I haven`t won by the way, but hey… I was very popular 🙂
Two cool items:
Luxe silk, seen here in emerald, is gathered into a cross-over bodice before cascading into flattering drapes down the centre front length of the skirt. Wear with an embellished neck piece for a demure evening look – $2,295
Woven satin frame clutch with push-lock knot closure and leather trim. Satin lined interior.4″ x 6″Available in LagoonMade in Italy – $1,220
P.S. From now on, if u want me to highlight some other set of mine, let me now, comment and I will do so. From tomorrow I will write about other people sets or mine recently done.
